Statement of Need/Program Overview
Metro Health Stroke and Cerebrovascular Symposium will focus on Surgical and Medical Management of Cerebral Venous Thrombosis, Rehabilitation Opportunities for Patients, Surgical and Medical Management of Subarachnoid Hemorrhage, Ultra-Early and Emergency Medicine in Stroke Management, the Role of iv-tPA and Endovascular Therapies in Ischemic Stroke, and the Role of Comprehensive Stroke Centers in Managing Stroke.
- Summarize and implement the latest advances in the medical management of cerebrovascular diseases.
- Discuss and apply new treatment options for the management of hemorrhagic and ischemic stroke.
- Recognize and articulate the importance of continuum of care and comprehensive stroke programs in the management of cerebrovascular disease.
